Congrats to everyone involved
Tonights raiders were: Faboulaso, Soddan, Omep, Krags, Karras, Icefang, Tyrsneve, Quima, Diamantium, Kekashi

I intented to write a post about hunter addons a while back but I simply came to the conclusion that there are so friggin many out there and everyone uses different ones, also they get outdated, not supported and so on so it's just gonna be a hazzle maintaining the post. Anyhow... I'm still gonna go through some of them and this addon is so powerful it deserves a post of it's own. First it's kinda complicated to set up, but I find it worth all the work. Also, I'm gonna post my configuration so you don't need to do anything else than using copy/paste. :)
What is Power Auras?
Power auras is a highly modifiable addon available here from curse gaming. It allows you to set up visual indicators (auras) alerting you to buffs and debuffs. You can show things like:
- When a buff on yourself is active or is not active, and so needs renewing
- When a buff on a mob is active or not active, and needs renewing
- When a spell or ability is off cooldown
- When a procced ability becomes available for use
- When health/mana etc. are above or below certain thresholds
- When you are inflicted by a harmful spell, poison, etc.
There are lots of other uses too, but these are the main ones I'm using and as you can see it's not class specific either so it can be congured for any other class.
Continue reading on how to configure the addon after the break

Wipe continues their tour through Ulduar and this time Kologarn got aware of Wipes intentions; - We stop for no one! Not even giants shouting movie quotes.
Grats everyone involved in our first kill!

Click ze image for the original resolution.
For another not really related topic, Wipe entered the Obisidan Sactum last week obtaining the Twilight Assist achievement, not groundbreaking or anything but our first and thats what counts. :-)
Grats everyone involved in that one, I didnt remember to take a screenie tho. |

It's been a great week!
It may seem slow to the one used to the sillyness of Naxxramas but au the contrary, Ulduar presents a real challenge for the most of us. It really began a couple of weeks ago with a group existing of no real healers taking down Flame Leviathan, earning Shutout with ease.

After Wipe have recovered from the sad news below we continued hammering down on Ignis, we may say we hit the wall right there but shame on us if we ought to give up. I didn't have the privilege to come see the downing of Razorscale myself but the a little bird whispered in my ear saying it was pretty easy fight with him going down on the 5:th try or so.

Today we continued the battle with the Big Baby X-002, we really showed him that his toys really can fight back, geared with some great healing and über dps he went down after a couple of tries.

We also had a couple of tries on the Assembly of Iron, Ulduar once again showed us that we actually need to practice on the ecounters to learn master them, unlucky timing of Rune of Power along with Fusion Punch got the best of us.
I'd say we have better luck next time, thanx for a great week everyone! |
